SPIRITUAL WARFARE FOR PARENTS This study concentrates primarily upon the spiritual warfare that faces parents—a warfare that requires constant diligence and the continual application of faith. The battleground for this warfare is your child's mind. If you have more than one child you have more than one battleground. Yet there are basic, common sense strategies that must be applied in conjunction with specific strategies required according to the wisdom and understanding that God grants you through the Holy Spirit. Know what you must do, why you are fighting, and who you are fighting.
THE U.N. CONVENTION ON THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD The U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child threatens international control of every aspect of child rearing. It is a tremendous threat to the sovereignty of parents over their children, and makes every child a ward of the state. This report examines the text of the Convention resolution as it currently stands, and considers how passage of its program will affect those whose faith is in the Lord Jesus Christ. At the very root of the Convention lies a moral and philosophical world view that runs counter to God's Word. For purposes of brevity we address only those portions of the Convention which we believe will affect the practice of biblical Christianity.
