LIFE AFTER DEATH by Albert James Dager There are many testimonies of people having died and still retained consciousness. Some claim to have gone to Heaven and/or Hell, and returned to tell about it. Although believers in Jesus already know that Heaven exists, and that there will be judgment for evil people, should we place any stock in these testimonies—especially since they don’t all agree on what happens after death?This special report will shed some light on the subject (although it doesn’t come from the end of a long tunnel).

This event, the product of conservative talk show host Glenn Beck, gave tremendous credibility to Mormonism and effectively neutralized the voices protesting that Glenn Beck’s religion is anti-Christ because of its convoluted understanding of God’s nature and that of Jesus. LAKELAND OUTPOURING CONTINUES by Albert James Dager It began on April 2 when 32 year old Canadian evangelist Todd Bentley visited Ignited Church in Lakeland, Florida. The “Lakeland Outpouring” is another outlet for the same spirit that manifested it self in “The Toronto Blessing” and “The Brownsville Revival.” Spectacular claims of healings are being made, resulting in tens of thousands of people visiting the site where it is said a new move of God is occurring.
THE LOST TOMB OF JESUS - A Death-Blow to Christianity? The Discovery Channel's March 4 premier of a controversial documentary claiming that the tomb of Jesus and his family has been found, is stirring great debate among scientists, scholars, religious leaders, and people in general. Some claim that it disproves the Resurrection and renders Jesus no more than a mortal man. They also claim that it bolsters the theoriesof Jesus marriage to Mary Magdalene, and the idea that He has descendants living today. The film comes on the heels of the fictional portrayal of those same claims in The Da Vinci Code.

Now that Dan Brown's run away bestseller The Da Vinci Code has been made into a block buster movie (it grossed $77 million its first weekend), the storm over its controversial attack against Jesus, the Bible and Christianity in general has been renewed with even greater fervor. Movies of ten have a greater impact upon people than do the books upon which they are based. The audio-visual impression, particularly at the hands of a talented director like Ron Howard, is far more impressive than slogging through almost 500 pages of a small paper back book.

Proponents of these phenomena insist they are manifestions of a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. This study traces the origins of the "holy laughter" movement, and offers a biblical understanding of its true nature.
INNER HEALING - A Biblical Analysis Examines the New Age origins of this practice that gained popularity in the churches as they began to adopt the psychological model for ministry. The beliefs of the alleged "Christian" proponents of this technique for healing emotions are also examined. Those addressed are Agnes Sanford, Ruth Carter Stapleton, Dennis and Rita Bennett, and John and Paula Sandford, among others. Agnes Sanford, as the progenitor of inner healing among Christians is found to have been a believer in reincarnation, astral projection, and other aberrant, unbiblical philosophies.

PROMISE KEEPERS - Is What You See What You Get? Although the influence of Promise Keepers is on the wane, this organization continues to influence thousands of churches. This report looks at the ecumenical agenda of its leadership, and the psychological integrationism of its group dynamics, as well as other unbiblical elements.
PROMISE KEEPERS' Washington, D.C. COVENANT Building upon its popularity, Promise Keepers organized its "million man march" with the intent of bringing to the nation's capital its appeal for denominational and racial reconciliation. In the process, it called for all churches to voluntarily look to Promise Keepers as their central authority for those agendas. It also called for men as individuals to covenant with God under Promise Keepers' auspices certain promises that amount to spiritual bondage. Regardless of the "positive" spin put on this organization by its proponents, it has proven to be dangerous to the spiritual health of men.
SIX ROMAN CATHOLIC DOCTRINES - THAT NULLIFY SALVATION BY GRACE Citing the Roman Catholic St. Joseph's Edition of the New American Bible, this study proves the truth of salvation by grace. It then proves that the Roman Catholic Church nullifies salvation by grace in spite of its words to the contrary. According to Roman Catholicism, salvation comes by God's grace, but the only way to receive that grace is through partaking of the Roman Catholic sacraments dispensed through the priesthood. An important aid for non-Catholic Christians in understanding the true nature of Roman Catholic "grace," this study arms believers with the knowledge to witness to their Roman Catholic friends and family.
